  1. Sufficient server space for your messages and the Desktop Alert. If you plan to post a number of messages with large images, you should have at least 5MB - 10MB of space available.
  2. FTP access. You don't need to have FTP software as the Direct2Client has already provided this facilities. However, you need to make sure your server hosting company (free/shared/dedicated) provides the FTP file uploading function for your account.
  3. PHP script capability is necessary for the tracking features of Direct2Client. Most web hosting services provide this capability.

Customize the Desktop Alert

The Desktop Alert is the most important component of Direct2Client. It is a small, simple piece of "reader" software that your contacts download and install on their computers, allowing them to instantly receive notifications and read messages that you send with Direct2Client.
